FOREIGN ARMED FULANI HERDERS ARE TROOPING INTO OYO STATE- SAYS GENERAL TOGUN.

The Chairman of Western Nigeria Security Network, Amotekun in Oyo State, Gen. Kunle Togún rtd, arouse attention of the Oyo State people during Yoruba World Assembly held at Ibadan that foreign armed Fulani herders also non- Nigerians are gaining entry through Saki without proper documentation as mentioned, Saki East, Saki West and Atisbo Local government Areas are mostly reported.

It was also gathered that the alarmed arrivals of undocumented armed Fulanis has got Yoruba Council of elders, Afenifere, Agbekoya farmers up angrily as they call on security Agencies to perform their several duties.

Also confirmed during the speech of the Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde

that most foreigners that have not been properly documented are contributing to the security issues facing several communities. He also warned against allocation of lands to the mentioned set of undocumented foreigners.

Togun also pleaded for the support of the hunters to help them for some of his officers are inexperienced as many weapons are being retrieved from few herdsmen after gun shots heard at the trials of entry.
