BAALE OF SASA COMMUNITY RULES OVER SERIKI'S AUTHORITY. SAY'S OLUBADAN.
According to reliable source, It has been ordered and confirmed that the Seriki of Sasa is a minority leader of Hausa traders and not the main leader of the Sasa community as he is under the authority of Baale of Sasa the Yoruba majority leader in the territory. This statement was directed to him from the Olubadan of Ibadan as he also accepted the directives.
Recently the Governor of Oyo state visited the palace of Seriki the leader of Hausa group of Market traders after the recent crisis which ushered deadly fights between Youruba and Hausa people as many properties and lives were distroyed. Many indigenes of Ibadan through this condemned the visit of Oyo State governor and other governors from the North including other constituted authorities from Yoruba land. The Yoruba's pictured that the meeting should have been honoured if held within the palace of Olubadan of Ibadan.
The Olubadan of Ibadan land clearly waves the air concerning who should be regarded as the most superior leader in Sasa Community after Yoruba indigenes clamoured over the display of power and authority in the community by the Seriki over Baale of Sasa. The Ibadan people revealed that power is physically highlighted towards the Seriki of Sasa than the Baale of Sasa community in Ibadan.
The Yoruba leaders and indegenes respectfully acknowledge the diplomatic approach of Olubadan towards the light thrown on the path of Leadership in Sasa community as he has made the Baale of Sasa to be more Important in his territory.
